MakeMyTrip's Myra 2.0 is genuinely capable at what it does. Voice-capable in eight Indian languages, around three million conversations per quarter, 10% higher conversion than the previous experience, powered by OpenAI (February 2026) and Google Cloud (October 2025). But its scope is flights and hotels. Not trains, not activities, not permits, not pacing, not what to do with your ten days in India. That is a trip planning problem, and it is Winnie's job.
Myra covers flights and hotels because those are the two categories MakeMyTrip most wants to close. It will not tell you a state needs an Inner Line Permit, that the sensible base for Kedarnath is Guptkashi (there are no on-site hotels), which safari zone is worth booking in Ranthambhore, or that the honest answer for a hotel is a price range rather than a number designed to convert. Winnie is planning-first and independent, so those things surface without a commercial filter.
MMT is built for Indians booking travel. That is a real strength inside India. Winnie is built for anyone planning India: NRIs handling family plus travel weeks, inbound travellers from London or Toronto or Sydney, and domestic travellers, all in the same product with currency and origin-city awareness.

Winnie plans to your actual constraints (dates, budget, group, interests) and returns a real day-by-day plan. You can then book any part of it on MakeMyTrip if their price for that segment is competitive.
For planning the trip, Winnie. Winnie is India-aware for inbound travellers and handles visa, currency, and origin-city context. Myra's language support targets Indian languages, i.e. the product is built for Indians booking travel. For booking, MakeMyTrip works, but foreign visitors often find Booking.com and IRCTC directly more intuitive.
Winnie is free to plan. MakeMyTrip is free to search; the cost is the convenience fee and any margin on bookings. You do not save money by planning on MakeMyTrip. You might save money by planning on Winnie first and then choosing where to book.
